What is Founder's Reserve?
It's the founding membership for Scissors & Scotch Smyrna. The first 100 members lock in $39.99/mo for their first 12 monthly payments — retail is $65. It's the full membership: the Ten Year signature service 13 times a year, a complimentary cocktail every visit, upkeeps between cuts, a birthday upgrade, friends & family passes, and 10% off products. No deposit, no sign-up fee, month-to-month.
What do I pay today, and when does billing actually start?
Signing up for the list costs nothing. When you claim your membership, you pay your first $39.99 that day — that's the whole transaction, and it's payment 1 of your 12-payment lock. Your membership activates on opening day, and that first payment covers your entire first month of service — you're never paying for a month you can't use. Payment 2 doesn't hit until a month after activation (not necessarily the 1st of anything). So: claim in August, we open this fall, and your second payment lands about a month after opening day.
When do you open?
We're targeting this fall — construction is underway, and we'll keep you posted by email and text. Whenever the doors open, that's the day your membership goes live, with your first cut and first cocktail waiting.
What's Claim Day? What happens on the call?
Thursday, October 1. Starting at 9am, Kevin & team call the entire list in order — No. 1 gets the first call, No. 2 gets the second, and so on. The call takes about five minutes: they answer your questions, you put down your first $39.99 — payment 1 of your 12-payment lock, and it covers your first month once we open — and you walk away with your founder's number. That's it. No pitch-a-thon, no timeshare energy.
What if I miss my call?
You're not out. We leave a voicemail — and a text with a claim link, if you opted in — and you can call us back at (615) 555-0137 or claim whenever you come up for air. Your line number got you the early call; claiming is what locks the rate. So the sooner you get back to us, the better your shot at the first 100.
What does my number in line actually mean?
It's your call order. When the team works down the list on Claim Day, your number is your place in it. The first 100 to claim lock the founders' rate — so earlier number, earlier call, better shot. And once you claim, you trade your line number for something better: your founder's number, permanently yours.
Can I cancel?
Anytime. It's month-to-month with no penalty and no hoops.
